Her background as a successful business owner, television producer/director for KOB-TV (NBC affiliate), and lead producer for UNM Children’s Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network gave her invaluable skills in multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail, and meeting critical timelines—all of which seamlessly translate into her real estate expertise.

As the founding principal of a video production company, Janis led a team that provided services for prestigious clients, including the Albuquerque Isotopes, UNM Lobo Vision, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, and the NM Scorpions Hockey team. Her company handled everything from staffing and graphics to live video/web broadcasts, stadium interactions, and technical production. This experience sharpened her ability to manage high-pressure environments, coordinate large-scale projects, and exceed client expectations—skills that now serve her real estate clients in complex negotiations and transactions.
